In this coronavirus pandemic, everyone is affected by this tiny little virus. Here is a little fact about the virus. Viruses cannot function without interacting with a living cell. On their own, they are inert, unable to move, they cannot do anything. They need a host cell to replicate. It’s so mysteriously powerful that even the world’s scientists are struggling to understand what makes it ticks.
If you do some reflections on this pandemic, there are lessons that we can learn from this unprecedented situation. Here are my 4 reflections.

This episode is the action part. The main key is to your consistency. It is the small consistent action every single day that matters. Again it’s a simple logical common sense. For example: when you want to lose weight, you choose to eat healthily and exercise. After 1 day of doing this, you go to weight yourself, still the same weight, after 1 week of doing the same thing, again you weight yourself, still the same weight. Are you going to give up now? As I involved myself in speaking and coaching, I start to see, hear and feel the pain from my audience or coaching clients. They feel frustrated and depressed, finding themselves can’t accomplish the goals that they set for themselves, or what they promise themselves to work on. I can feel the pain in them because I experienced before too.
So, after peeling off layer after layer of the onion to understand the core reason why this happens. We found the answer. Oh, I am sure you don’t like to hear this. You can avoid, you can pretend this doesn’t exist, you can do whatever you can to convince yourself that this is not true. It is still the truth that you must face. Is your self-discipline. That is the ultimate thing that can determine your success or failure. Self-discipline is the bridge between your goals and your accomplishments.
Oops. It’s painful. Even you just hear about self-discipline, you can feel the pain already. I know how you feel....
When it comes to productivity, energy is everything. Energy is everything in your life. What does it mean? The energy that I refer to here is the state of mental clarity, emotional calm, and physical alertness that allows us to accomplish all we need to do in a day. On the other hand, if you lack energy, you experience physical lethargy, mental fog, and emotional fatigue. I believe you experienced it before.
So there are ways to increase your energy levels as well as improve your health and reset your mind and mood. Let’s check it out.
First, eat healthily. You are what you eat. You must intake as many as a plant-based diet as you can. Avoid processed food and junk food. Food that made up of refined starch and sugar. Sugar intake can make you feel lethargic. Take fresh vegetables and fruits. If you can get organic, it’s the best. Intentionally know what you put inside your mouth. You can choose what you eat and be wise about that.

The No.1 thing that you can do is to stay centered. Knowing that this situation is serious, but you can do your part to remain calm and strong. Because you’ve calmed your nervous system down to the point where you can embrace the situation rather than have the situation control you. Be a good example to those around you. When you panic, you might cause the chain reaction to those around you to panic and anxiety. This doesn’t serve well to your family and friends. Your support and care is the utmost important thing you can do to them now.
Next, shift your focus to what is important right now—not dwelling into all the posts in your social media or whatapps. Some of the posts are fake news. Listening and watching too many of these posts can make you feel more anxious and panic. What can you do instead? Is shifting your...
In the last episode, I shared with you how to protect your time so that you can use the time to work on your goals. This episode, I’m going to share with you the 3 steps to increase your productivity by 2 times.
First, you must figure out your 2 peak hours. What is this peak hour that I refer to here? It’s the time that you are highly engaged, and you can give laser focus to work on your important goals. The time that you can produce fast results. You can finish your task in half of the time. Know your peak hours. Some of us are morning people, some of us are night owls. You must understand yourself and find your own peak hours. For me, I’ll take some time to rest or schedule less strategic tasks during the hours when I’m not as engaging.
