My 4 Reflections During This Coronavirus Pandemic

Jun 19, 2020

SUMMARY

In this coronavirus pandemic, everyone is affected by this tiny little virus. Here is a little fact about the virus. Viruses cannot function without interacting with a living cell. On their own, they are inert, unable to move, they cannot do anything. They need a host cell to replicate. It’s so mysteriously powerful that even the world’s scientists are struggling to understand what makes it ticks.

If you do some reflections on this pandemic, there are lessons that we can learn from this unprecedented situation. Here are my 4 reflections.

First, we are all equal. No matter who you are, where you from, what is the amount of your bank account you have, what academic award you have, how much you earn, we are all connecting. We are Human being. We are the same species. The virus can invade into any of us.

Second, your health is precious. Health is the fundamental of your success your health must be the top priority of your everyday life. If you have your health, nothing matters, All the successful projects, accomplishments that you did, do not matter any more. Taking good care of your own health is always the top priority of ourselves.

Third, life is short. There is no guarantee that you will wake up when you fall asleep at night. You will never ever know will there be a day you will be diagnosed with coronavirus or any other chronic disease. Know the purpose of your life. No matter how long or how short your life, live your life with no regret. Do your best in everything you do. Help each other, lift up others and serve others.

Last but not least, family and home life are important. Now, we are confined in our own home and surrounded by our family members. Family members can interact with each other more than ever. Some people experience a closer relationship with each other. Some people experience family violence. Learning how to communicate with each other is the key to maintain a healthy relationship with our family.

You can dwell into negative thought and claiming you are the victim of this pandemic or you can also show up to be the best of yourself to power through this uncertainties. The choice is on your hand. Work on your mindset. Trust and believe you can go through this.

I believe in you. I believe in us. We can go through this together.
