This is a special episode I recorded to share some ways that we can do to power through this situation as we have Covid 19 pandemic.
The No.1 thing that you can do is to stay centered. Knowing that this situation is serious, but you can do your part to remain calm and strong. Because you’ve calmed your nervous system down to the point where you can embrace the situation rather than have the situation control you. Be a good example to those around you. When you panic, you might cause the chain reaction to those around you to panic and anxiety. This doesn’t serve well to your family and friends. Your support and care is the utmost important thing you can do to them now.
Next, shift your focus to what is important right now—not dwelling into all the posts in your social media or whatapps. Some of the posts are fake news. Listening and watching too many of these posts can make you feel more anxious and panic. What can you do instead? Is shifting your focus, turn your attention to those things you can control and do. Be a responsible citizen; stay at home. If you have work or business that can run online, it’s a great time to focus on the tasks that can make a difference in your career. This is also a great time to improve your relationship with your family members. Spend quality time with them, know, and understand each other more. Learn something useful that can help you now or in the future through online resources.
Eat healthily to have a strong immune system. Drink plenty of water and have a good night’s sleep. There is hope for every situation that we are in. People who are optimistic know that no matter what happens, life still goes on, and they can choose to focus on things that empower them. So, stay focus, stay strong, stay disciplined. We all can go through this together.
