Let’s us talk about hydration this week! Yes, you are right! Water! We need water! Water as a transport! Our blood comprises 90% water help to transport oxygen and nutrients to cells. Water also as a temperature regulator! Body water allows us to regulate our body core temperature so that it gets neither too hot nor too cold.

Do you actually know that even a mild dehydration with water loss of 1-2% of body weight can impair physical and cognitive performance? You will feel headache, fatigue, loss of appetite, dry mouth and eyes and dark color of urine. A loss of 5% can cause nausea and difficulty of concentration.
