While you’re excited to start your year, the reality kick in. After the year-end holidays, now you start to go back to your workplace. Have you started working on your goals?
You might say “I don’t have time”, “I am busy”, “I need to take care of my kids and my family”, “my full-time job is taking up my time”. Yes, I hear you. We all have other commitments or obligations to take care of while we’re heading towards our dreams. It’s common. If the above sentences are what you normally said. It also means that the goals that you set not yet your priority.
That’s the key. You will make time out to work on your goals if you make it your priority. Remember, you commit yourself that you want to make your goal come true. That’s why you’re here to make it happen.
How? You can make time out of your busy schedule. Trust me, we can work it out. First, check on your own time spend on your social media whether it is your Facebook, Instagram or watching Youtube video. Track down how many minutes you spend scrolling all the social media platforms or watching movies or clips.
30 minutes ? or more? Then, count. If you use 30 minutes a day, just 30 minutes to do all the above, in a year, how many hours you spend on this. Yes, is 182.5 hours. If you transfer it to an 8 hours workdays, it is 22 whooping workdays. See, just 30 minutes a day.
How about 1 hour? Your maths is good. Yes, is 365 hours, 45 full 8 hours workdays. It’s literally one and a half months! You see, you can literally craft out 182 hours in a year if only 30 minutes less spending on social media or watching unnecessarily videos on Youtube.
You may surprise that although I use social media to communicate with you, every day I spend less than 10 minutes on my social media platform. I make time to work on my goals. You can make this happen too.
First, take note of how much time you spend on social media. You may be surprised by the number of hours you spend. Then, Intentionally cut down the time you spend on Instagram, Facebook, and Youtube.
Then, come back to this post, tell me how much time you save.
