HOW TO TURN YOURSELF INTO A CREATIVE PERSON
SUMMARY
A few years ago, I love to said this sentence “ I am not a creative person”. Because of this limiting belief, I missed out a lot of golden opportunities and really really cost me a lot!
When I delete this limiting belief that so called “ I am not a creative person”, I start to see variety of ways for me to be creative!
Here I shared with you all my 5 ways How to be Creative!
First, be open minded. The closed minded of mine for the past several years has unable me to see, hear and feel interesting things that could have happened or transform in my life! Knowing that creativity is a learnable skills will definitely pave the way for many new ideas and breakthrough that you want! Thinking outside the box or even thinking without a box will be an excellent choice of break free your mind from normal status quo.
Second, you can get a lot of ideas from the surrounding environment! Any words, pictures, painting, slogan, headlines or even labels! I love to take a scroll around new places. I am grateful that I have a great flexibility on walking around many news places while I am working. Anywhere I am traveling, observing the surrounding new places, chatting with customers or even acquaintances, I got a lot of new idea in creating my new project at hand. That is the power of environment that can empower our mind to think!
Third, surround yourself with the correct people! Be with friends that are creative and love crazy ideas. This positive people have great influence in our life! As they have a sense of humour and full with endless energy to use. They have great influence of our creativity and new idea generation! Do you know how many of our new technology invention is generated through chatting around with those friends that we called them “crazy”?
Fourth, reading is my great loving pass time! Everyday without fail, I will spend at least half and hour to read and read and read. Reading is my absolute hobby! Feeling so fulfilled after getting great content in my mind and able to make into good use. Reading provides me a platform to generate new ideas to continue my task at hand.
Last but not least, sharing makes me more creative! Do not feel that you are too small to share something new. Just beware share to the correct person. The sharing to the wrong person will end up in cold water. The feeling is like a basket of cold water pouring from your head to toe. I love to share my new ideas to my close friends. Sometimes they laugh at me, but they are encouraging. They even add some more new ideas into my creation! It becomes a pooled of ideas and better one!
Do not underestimate yourself! You are more creative than you ever imagine you could be.The traditional old mindset of mine was thrown away and now I am a brand new me!!
