HOW TO TURN THE REJECTION INTO MOTION TO MOVE FORWARD

SUMMARY 

If you are salesperson, it is very common for you to hear this “I am not interested, the price is too expensive, the product is not suitable, or just a simple NO”. Even if you are not a salesperson, you may experience this once a while. How do you feel with this rejection? Feeling angry, frustrated or even depress because each of the day, you are facing with so many rejections?

Nobody like this feeling of rejection. What you can do to turn this frustration to a motion, to motivate you to move forward. Turning the negative emotion to something positive definitely can makes it very different!

I see this as opportunity to learn something, a new way to understand the customer’s want and needs, I see this as opportunity to find a new approach to provide a better offer to my customer. I see this as a learning experiences, I see an opportunity to practice my techniques and perfect my performance.

Find the reason why you can not close the deal, is that your products, your approach, your market or your closing skills. Like Albert Einstein said, I am not failing thousand of time, I just find thousand times of ways that does not work. Learn from the lesson, learn from the failure. Nobody was born with every skills and knowledge. Even the author of best selling novel Harry Potter, JK Rowling, her manuscript was rejected a lot of times by the publishers! Until the time, she got her deal! And the past become the history.

Do not afraid of rejection. Take it positively, I am sure there is one fine day, one find day there is your day, the day will come. Just work on it, plant your seed, and always look up for opportunities. Opportunity is everywhere. Do not just limit yourself in your own field, look outside. Always believe the best is yet to come.
