DO YOU HAVE "TAKING THE FIRST STEP SYNDROME"?

SUMMARY 

Have you ever feel like there are thousands of heavy weights preventing you from taking  your first step doing what you set to do? If yes, you are suffering from what I call “ taking the first step syndrome”!

In last week episode we are discussing about your decision precedes your action! Once you make up your firm decision, move fast and just do the next step! Do not let your mind sit there and wander again. Hesitation will only slow you down and you may not want to do it anymore! So, Just Do It! Do not let it stop! Continue your second step, third step untill you get it done successfully!

It is because when your body start moving, our body RAS system (recticular activation system) will detect the movement and send us signal to complete the task! The more you do, the more momentum you get! In physics,momentum is defined as the quantity of motion of a moving body measured by its mass and velocity! Wau! Seem pretty difficult to understand, right? In short, it is the measurement of how much your body move towards a direction! So, the more momentum you have, the more confident you become! And definitely you are heading towards completion of your task! This is what we call the confident and competence  loop!

Now, when you decide on something, make sure your body start moving towards it. When your body move, your brain grooves. Keep going until it is done! As Nike slogan said: Just Do It!
