3 SIMPLE WAYS TO GET YOU OUT OF COMFORT ZONE

SUMMARY 

Sometimes, we get so comfortable and we do not even realized we are in danger zone!! Yes, the more comfortable you are in your work or life, you are getting more danger!

Joyce, are you kidding me? Comfortable is dangerous? Yes, this is what we called comfort zone. We tends to do something that is comfortable. Our mind will seek out the most comfortable ways to do the tasks.

The first way is to intentionally purposely make ourselves uncomfortable. Start to search out some new ways to do something. For example, you love to take photos while you learning instead of writing the information down. Now, you choose to write it down by your hand. You definitely will feel very uncomfortable. But is the uncomfortable that will bring you progress! You will remember better when you write it down. Or like my last week video, I purposely challenge myself to fix the curtain pulley which I never done it before. That is my way to make myself uncomfortable. I start to learn new things or do it in different ways! To you, may be is to change a working environment, start a new business or writing a book!

Second, learn to get comfortable with the uncomfortable! Everyday you make yourself so uncomfortable, you may find a little bit nervous or even anxious. So, you need to tell yourself, I can figure it out! Or else, pretty soon you will get back to your normal comfort zone! Is the confident emotion that will make you move faster and motivate you to try something new something you may even afraid of! So, next time when you are handling a challenge or task, you will be super confident to go to discover the solutions!

Last one, go find someone that can kick your ass! Yes, I mean that! I have someone to kick my ass to push me forward every single day! If you are a little bit slower or come to a complete stop, this person is the one that push you forward to keep going to do something! He/she is the one will hold you accountable, get you move faster and the one believe in you more than yourself! Go find this person! He/she can be your family members, friends, or even mentor/coach!
